That is the whole of the claim, and it is worth being clear about what it is not. A toilet here does not doom a household to illness or bankruptcy. It creates a localised drain on the lightest part of the home, and it is corrected with specific, cheap, reversible interventions.

Can a Brahmasthan toilet be corrected?

The Brahmasthan is the innermost square of the plan — the point every other zone distributes around. A bathroom there drops plumbing and disposal onto the centre of gravity of the house.

You cannot move it, so the work is to lighten it. Strip out heavy storage cabinets so the room is not carrying literal weight as well. Paint it pure white or a very pale cream. Correcting a North-East toilet, step by step

1. Measure the true bearing. Stand at the Brahmasthan, find true north, take the bearing of the commode. If it is outside 33.75°–56.25°, stop and read the row for the zone you are actually in.
2. Fit an aluminium strip. Three inches wide, laid flat on the dry floor under the bathroom door, running the full width of the opening. Aluminium because the North-East is a water zone. This is the step people most often get wrong, usually by reaching for a brass strip because it looks better.
3. Put raw sea salt on a shelf. An open glass bowl of thick, unrefined crystals above waist height. It is a real desiccant, so it does something measurable about the damp. Replace it every fortnight, or sooner once it cakes and stops drawing.

Applying the full North-East correction to a bathroom that is actually in ENE is wasted effort and unnecessary worry.
