Birth Chart Generator
Your Vedic rashi chart in North-Indian or South-Indian form — with anything your birth time can’t settle left honestly blank.
Your birth details
Everything is calculated in your browser. Your birth details never leave your device.
About this tool.
Why do you ask how sure I am of the birth time?
Because it decides what we are willing to tell you. The Moon moves about half a degree every hour and the Lagna changes sign roughly every two hours, so a chart built from “sometime in the morning” is a guess wearing a diagram. We calculate your chart three times across the range you give us, and anything the three disagree about, we leave blank and say why.
What if I genuinely don’t know my birth time?
Choose that option and you will still get the slow-moving grahas, whose signs do not change across a day. You will not get a Lagna or houses — those cannot be known without a time, and we would rather show you less than show you something wrong.
Which ayanamsa do you use?
Lahiri (Chitrapaksha), the Indian government standard and the default in Parashari practice. It is stated on every result, along with the other conventions: geocentric apparent positions, mean lunar node for Rahu, and whole-sign houses.
Is my birth data sent anywhere?
No. The whole calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you type reaches our servers, because there is no server involved — the astronomical code is downloaded to your device and runs there.
My birth place isn’t in the list.
Use the “enter coordinates manually” option. We ship a curated list of Indian cities rather than guessing at a global geocoder, because a confident match on the wrong town is worse than asking you.
A chart is the map, not the reading.
This tool places the grahas accurately. What they mean for your work, your home and the year ahead is what a consultation is for.
